Rexroth A4VG Axial Piston Variable Pump

The Bosch Rexroth A4VG series axial piston pump is a high-pressure pump suitable for closed circuit applications up to 500 bar. It has a high power density and is designed with an integrated auxiliary pump for boost and pilot oil supply.

According to the different types of control valves on the pump, the A4VG pump has various control modes. The following are common control methods:

– HW manual control: The pump displacement is proportional to the angle of the control valve handle.

– EP Electric Proportional Control: The pump displacement is proportional to the current signal of the proportional solenoid.

-HD hydraulic control type: Pilot-controlled hydraulic control, the displacement of the pump is proportional to the pilot pressure.

The A4VG pump is mainly used for closed circuit hydrostatic transmissions and has a complex structure with a variety of hydraulic control valves. As a power element of the hydrostatic transmission system, A4VG is the preferred plunger pump for building maintenance machinery and port machinery.
